Crisis Care
Another aspect of the Children’s Emergency Shelter is the Crisis Care program. Through this program, we also serve children who may need placement by their parents due to a family crisis such as:
- Medical and mental health emergencies
- Death in the family
- Parent participation in an alcohol or drug rehabilitation program
- Highly stressful home situations with little or no support
- Eviction
- Lack of food and utilities
- Domestic Violence
